Heat Guide

What's Hot?

Everyone’s spice tolerance is different, so we’ve made it simple: every Heartbeat Hot Sauce is ranked on a 1–10 scale. A lower number means mild and approachable, perfect for everyday cooking. Higher numbers bring serious fire for the boldest heat seekers.

Use this guide as a quick reference when choosing your next favourite. Whether you’re just starting your hot sauce journey or chasing the thrill of extreme spice, you’ll know exactly what to expect before the first drop hits your plate.

Think of it as your flavour map:

Mild (1–3/10): approachable, zesty, and versatile — perfect for daily use.

Medium (4–6/10): bold, balanced heat that elevates meals without overpowering them.

Hot (7–10/10): fiery sauces for serious chilli lovers chasing that burn.
